Privacy Policy

Who we are

mngd is a product of Machinery Software LLC, based in Michigan. We build Apple MDM and device management tools for IT teams and MSPs. Questions about this policy can be directed to hello@mngd.app.

What we collect

To provide the mngd service, we collect:

• Account data — name, email address, and billing information provided at signup.
• Device inventory data — hardware identifiers, installed applications, OS versions, and configuration state reported by the mngd agent.
• Usage data — dashboard activity, API calls, and feature usage to improve the product.
• Log data — IP addresses, browser type, and access timestamps for security and debugging.

How we use it

We use collected data to operate and improve mngd, communicate with you about your account, process billing, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data storage

Account and device data is stored in Neon Postgres databases hosted in the United States. Device inventory data is logically isolated per organization and is not accessible across tenant boundaries.

Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Device inventory data is deleted within 30 days of device unenrollment. On account cancellation, all data is deleted within 90 days unless retention is required by law.

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate mngd, including payment processing (Stripe) and transactional email. These services receive only the data necessary to perform their functions and are bound by their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting hello@mngd.app. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to account holders. Continued use of mngd after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
